# Put your existing devices on the floor plans

Devices already in Workvoice can now be placed on the floor plan from your computer: drag each one to its spot, floor by floor. Rooms can be set for one device or for many at once.

## What's new

- **Place devices on the floor plan**: Open a plan and the devices that aren't on it yet are listed on the right, grouped by room. Drag one onto its spot, or click it and then click the spot. Each page of the plan is a floor, so you can work through the building floor by floor.
- **Devices join the room you drop them in**: If a room is drawn on the plan, a device dropped inside it is added to that room automatically.
- **Assign rooms in the device list**: Set a device's room from its details, or tick several devices and put them all in one room. You can create a new room on the spot.

## Improvements

- **The site plan shows only what belongs on it**: A building's plan lists that building's devices. The plan of the whole site lists only devices not assigned to any building, with a link to sort out the rest.
