# Add devices to a schedule row in one step

Devices can now be added to a maintenance schedule row straight from the schedule, from the Add device form, or by asking Ask Workvoice. Every device added to a row shows up in that row's next protocol, with its location filled in.

## What's new

- **Add devices from the schedule row**: Click a row in a site's maintenance schedule and type in the field under its devices. Pick a device the site already has, or create a new one by name. It goes under that row straight away, with no need to edit the whole schedule.
- **Choose the schedule row when you add a device**: The Add device form now has a schedule row field. Workvoice suggests the row from similar devices already in it, so usually you just save. You can pick another row or leave it empty.
- **Ask can do it too**: Tell Ask Workvoice something like "add AHU-17 to row 4.1". It shows which devices it will add, and nothing changes until you confirm.

## Improvements

- **Protocols know where each device is**: When a technician starts a protocol from a schedule row, the device list comes with each device's location already filled in.
