One WhatsApp connection now serves the whole team — anyone in the org can share to the relevant project groups. A new External People section in admin brings requesters and subcontractors together in one place. And the app can now read a nameplate photo and fill protocol fields directly on the phone, even without a signal.

## What's new

- **WhatsApp now works for the whole team** — Previously, only the person who connected WhatsApp could share documents there. Now anyone in the team can share to WhatsApp groups linked to their projects — one phone connection, whole team covered. Groups are project-scoped, so a field worker on Project A only sees Project A's group.
- **External People tab in admin** — A new "External People" section in the web admin lists all external requesters (building owners and tenants who've reported faults) and subcontractors in one place, with separate tabs to manage each group. Incoming external reports are easier to triage alongside the people who sent them.
- **Protocol fields fill from a photo, offline** — Point the camera at a nameplate or device label and the app reads it directly on your phone, filling in the protocol fields without needing a signal. Works on supported devices using the on-device AI model already downloaded. (Rolling out gradually — will be visible in Settings once active on your device.)

## Fixes

- **Schedule import handles more Excel layouts** — Fixed: device lists organised by hall or section inside an Excel workbook, and schedules that list service cadence without a separate date column, now import and generate the 52-week plan correctly.
