# The Workvoice manifesto

What we believe about field work, and why we build the way we do.

## We are building physical AI.

Software that lives where the job site meets the computer — capturing every
field interaction and turning it into compliance protocols, estimates, recaps
and task lists.

Field workers operate the same way they have for centuries: inspecting, fixing,
reporting, and learning the trade by hand, from practice. Most of what happens
on site is never captured or reused for compliance, revenue recovery, and
training.

## The West is reindustrializing while the trades it depends on are shrinking.

Skilled workers are already scarce.

- **39%** of technicians are over 55 and nearing retirement — against 28% across
  all occupations.
- **4M** unfilled skilled-trades jobs on both sides of the Atlantic by 2030.

Closing that gap needs an order-of-magnitude jump in productivity, not the
fraction that office-first tools offer.

## The future is autonomous.

The technician arrives at the end of the job, not the start of it — to inspect,
confirm, and govern the work. The rarest skills and the hardest experience go
into judgment, not labor, and the hands move only when they have to. Sensors,
cameras, and robots take on the tedious and the dangerous: the roof inspection
in a storm, the floor that has to be cleaned, the grid node nobody can reach.

Workvoice is the processing layer behind every one of those devices. It briefs
the worker before the job, connects the systems doing the work, and turns every
action into a record someone can stand behind. The person stops being the one
who does the work and becomes the one accountable for it.

## To do that, we operate like no other company.

We build for people who work with their hands, not for other software people —
the technician on the roof in February, the crew keeping a hospital running at
2am. We are decisive, we are nimble, we act without a historical playbook the
way our models begin, and we execute with urgency. The physical world is far
less forgiving than the virtual one. The consequences are real, and often
impossible to reverse.
